About this space
Society1 is an independent coworking space in the heart of Preston city centre, owned and run by a small family team. Founded in 2017, Society1 has grown into a thriving community of businesses, freelancers, solopreneurs, remote team members and many more. We are not sector specific and we have a rich and diverse mix of businesses based here. Society1 was created by Brendan, Catarina and Chris – a family team with a strong vision to foster a friendly and supportive community. The building was Catarina and Chris’ family restaurant before the team converted it into the creative and inspiring space it is today. Our inviting and welcoming space is situated on Cross Street, off Winckley Square, in the centre of Preston. Since opening, Society1 has become a firm favourite as a friendly, comfortable and professional place to work.
