About this space
It was Berman Neuberg who first envisioned a coworking space in 2005, he wanted to find a way to combine the independence and freedom of working alone with the community feeling and structure of working with others. According to Neuberg, the first coworking space that existed was in San Francisco "Coworking Space", located in Spiral Muse, a feminist collective. She was allowed to use the space twice a week. After a year, Neuberg moved into Hat Factory, the first coworking space, due to overwhelming demand for his concept.
