The Old Print Works offers a range of large and small workspaces and studios in Birmingham for makers and creatives. Our spaces are diverse and unusual with many interesting features from our building’s former days as a manufacturing centre of transfers for branding. We encourage engagement with the local community through learning, making and sharing practical knowledge and skills. We hold regular events for our Studio Partners to meet, and there have been many examples of cross-fertilisation and collaboration, which we love to see. All unit holders have access to shared lunch rooms, our backyard garden and courtyard, as well as large shared spaces available for temporary use. We are well placed in the creative centre of Balsall Heath, right next to the refurbished Moseley School of Art building, and just across the road from the Moseley Road swimming baths and library. A growing centre for creativity and localism, we are founder partners in the monthly mini-festival Balsall Heath Second Saturday, a great opportunity for our Studio Partners to engage with the local community.
