Startway was selected by Bordeaux Métropole following a call for projects launched in 2018. This call for projects aimed to find a coworking player with a sustainable and socially committed economic model. With this call for projects, Bordeaux Métropole's stated objective is to promote porosity and public-private synergies. The outcome of this project makes Startway le Haillan Bordeaux the first coworking space in France in a public building with a private financing model.
