Milk Island

About this space

Write a new page in the history of this neighborhood full of memories, shall we? At the foundation of Recife, the island that is now the mainland was known as the BarĂ£o de Suassuna island. The milk that also gave its name to the neighborhood was pasteurized in a plant located there. And that's where this story starts to look like Hub Plural. The power plant building combined beauty and function, after all, there the work would be done with the most advanced science. Thus emerged an iconic neighborhood in Recife that, among many things, houses the first modernist building in Pernambuco. A neighborhood that has become an important business and medical center in Recife and which also houses a kind of portal to the future of work, the Hub Plural.
