The FilmFabrique was created at the end of 2010 in cooperation with the Gängeviertel initiative at its heart, the "Fabrique", and quickly became an unusual place for the Hamburg film scene to come together. Four years later, the new location was opened in the Alte Bahnmeisterei in Oberhafenquartier. In In the now grown FilmFabrique, commercial and non-commercial film projects share the office spaces and find a new platform here to exchange information with each other.The low threshold is a very important aspect for the makers of FilmFabrique and HamburgerKino eV, the association behind the whole thing.
